In case anyone wants to see this, here is a link to the youtube vid my husband took of my Myrrah suit. It has footage of the back, the boots, and of me walking around and whatnot. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIn1Mi…
I have an instagram account now for my doll making
It's just for dolls.

What's to come in my cosplay builds.
You'll notice a pattern emerging soon as I post an unusual number of WIP photos into my cosplay section. I am making a minimum of three armored up He-man characters for a group cosplay at Dragoncon this year, and unlike my usual habit of building one costume at a time to completion, I'll be working on all three simultaneously.
I'll also be working on an PS4 Alys cosplay for one daughter, as well as He-man costumes for both daughters. One wants Catra and one wants Peekablue, altho they may change their minds on which characters they want :P
A note about commission work.
Hi guys! I don't get a ton of traffic here, but most of what I get ends up being inquiries about commission work. We are not currently taking commission work at this time - but before you rush out of here and look up the next person you hope to commission, let me break reality down for you:
If you are not a cosplayer and don't understand about the true cost of a costume, they are EXPENSIVE. Just the raw material for a costume can range from 100 dollars to nearly a thousand dollars, depending on what you want. My Myrrah costume was probably 800 bucks in raw material. I saw someone post a picture of me wearing my Myrrah suit on another website
Art theft changes.
I normally don't sweat the occasional posting of my photos without permission. I see them pop up on foreign fan websites now and then, or used in memes, and my girls' costumes tend to make the rounds in the doll collecting community. But when my entire gallery basically gets lifted and uploaded to imgkid - a website that seems to be exclusively stolen photos and art - I start to wonder if I've made my photos too accessible. So I've decided to vastly shrink the size of images uploaded, as well as disable downloading of photos. I may change my mind again later - I love big photos of my costumes! lol - but for now I'm stepping back a minute.
